After teaching for 20 years, my mom, Rene Howse created her own business advising students with difficulties in school. I first made her logo when she started the company in 2022. Rene chose her colors and fonts for me to work with, which I felt was helpful for this situation. I liked the colors she chose; they are sophisticated and give an educational, yet comfortable feel. Having the “s” wrap down and hold the pencil made the elements flow more and created a more unique design. The font Active is used for “Howse Strategies” and Raleway is used for the slogan and all paragraph text. I used Illustrator to design the pencil and assemble the logo.
